Photocasts | Medialab workshop

event thumbnail

Photocasts are short multimedia projects combining photos, audio, video and sometimes music and visuals. During the workshop, we will get acquainted with theoretical principles of creating photocasts and their history. We will practice making them by preparing a script, collecting audiovisual material, namely photos, videos and audio, editing and completing the post-production. We will go through the entire process of making photocasts, working both in the medialab room and outdoors.  The workshops include both group and individual work – you will get “homework” to do between the classes.

The main theme will be music in our city and it will be the inspiration in creating photo casts.
