T-shirts – a sewing workshop for men | Practical meetings

event thumbnail

Does a good-quality white T-shirt sound trivial? Maybe so, but anyone who has looked for one in stores knows that finding it is not as easy as it may seem.  Join us for a sewing workshop for men. No previous sewing experience is needed. We will begin the class with a short course on using sewing machines. After a four-hour crash course, you will see that making the perfect T-shirt is easier than you may have thought. On site, you will find a pattern in four basic sizes: S, M, L and XL. Our work will be based on a deconstructed T-shirt with a raglan sleeve – modern, loose and comfortable cut. The fun thing is that one T-shirt can be made of just two pieces of fabric. But what happens to the project is up to you – how you finish it, how many additional cuts you make whether you add a pocket or extra colour. We provide all necessary materials.
